Position Title: Recruiter
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily focused on filling our open project management consulting positions. Our growing demand for both solution-based and hourly staffing-based consultants has created the opportunity to fill an additional part-time recruiting position. The position will report to our Vice President of Professional Services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and document clear understanding of client’s position requirements, timing, geographic focus, budget and other details necessary to locate the most qualified candidate.
- Creatively utilize multiple recruiting methods to build a network of project management professionals that enable rapid response to sales opportunities. Sourcing methods should include identifying passive candidates that are open to new project management consulting opportunities as well as partnerships with other recruiting organizations who can help support difficult to fill requirements.
- Build internal database of qualified project management professionals to streamline souring process and build a ‘virtual bench’.
- Establish partnership with business development team to support effective lead qualification, documentation of position requirements, generation of best qualified candidates, and efficient follow-up procedures.
- Source and attract candidates by recruiting, interviewing and recommending candidates for job placement.
- Primary duties include sourcing for candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating compensation packages and extending employment offers.
- Manage requisition process: post open positions to appropriate job boards, source resumes and qualified candidates, conduct pre-screening phone interviews, lead on-site interviews with hiring manager, assist with selection process, process offer to selected candidate including all on-boarding and new hire orientation paperwork, process relocation if applicable.
- Meet with hiring managers to understand role and function within the business in order to improve selection of candidate.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Screens resumes and conducts phone interviews, information sessions and I in person
- Stay abreast of industry trends in one’s area of expertise and apply this knowledge to improve existing customers solutions.
- Proven problem solving skills, ability to offer solutions.
- Make recommendations for continued recruiting improvement.
- Leads and/or participates in special projects and company functions.
- Maintains relations with related vendors.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Course of Study/Major: HR or related field
- Related Work Experience: 2-4 years
- Recruiting experience in a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Team-player
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Work Experience: 4-6 years
